High school at ISA
In Grades 11-12, ISA students follow a two-year course of study, with the opportunity to choose between the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) and the College Preparatory (CP) Programme.


Subject selection
Students following either programme enjoy the following subject choices:
Group 1: LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE
Language and Literature (English, Modern Greek, Chinese, or self-taught language)
Group 2: LANGUAGE ACQUISITION (English, Spanish, French, German, Arabic)

Group 4: SCIENCES

IB Diploma Programme
The IB Diploma Programme is a rigorous course of study, which culminates with external examinations and leads to the attainment of the IB Diploma – internationally recognized as one of the highest standards in pre-university education.
Students are guided to choose three higher level and three standard level subjects, bearing in mind their academic strengths and future educational and career plans.
IBDP students also complete the following three core requirements that broaden their educational experience and challenge them to apply their knowledge and skills:
Students who successfully complete all the requirements of the programme are granted the IB Diploma.

College Preparation (ISA High School Diploma)
The College Preparatory (CP) programme is a course of study that students may choose to follow in Grades 11-12, that culminates in exams in order to attain the ISA High School Diploma. The ISA High School Diploma is awarded when students have gathered the required number of credits from the subjects they have successfully completed from Grade 9 – Grade 12.
The ISA High School Diploma accredited by the US-based Middle States Association (MSA), and is recognised worldwide for entry into university.

Students have the option to follow the CP programme while choosing additional IB courses in areas where they have a particular interest or strength. Students who successfully complete all the assessment requirements of the IB courses they have chosen are granted IB Certificates in these subjects, in addition to the ISA High School Diploma.
