About the International School of Athens
The International School of Athens is an IB World School, teaching the renowned International Baccalaureate curriculum in English, for students of ages 2.5-18. We are the only IB Continuum World school in Athens, taught in English.
We offer an English-language education, supplemented by Greek language teaching and the opportunity to study additional languages. With over 25 years teaching the IB curriculum, we are proud of the excellent academic achievement of our students and the opportunities that await them after graduation.
At ISA, we care deeply about nurturing each child’s wellbeing and potential. Sports & Recreation
Students enjoy access to multi-purpose outdoor courts for basketball, volleyball, handball, mini-soccer, gymnastics, track and field, and street hockey. Additional facilities include a nearby indoor gymnasium, swimming pool, and open-air soccer field, supporting a wide range of athletic and fitness activities. There is a dedicated playground for younger children.
Technology in the classroom
Technology is embedded in everyday learning at ISA. Classrooms and libraries are equipped with computers, and dedicated computer labs serve students from Grades 1–12. Students in Grades 4–6 participate in a 1:1 iPad program, enhancing digital literacy and engagement. All labs have been upgraded with modern equipment, and Clever Boards™ are used across classrooms to promote interactive learning.
Science Laboratories
Our fully renovated Biology, Chemistry, and Physics laboratories support hands-on learning through supervised experiments. Students develop strong scientific skills while following strict safety protocols and applying the scientific method in practical investigations and lab reports.
