FACULTY AND STUDENTS

It is with great pride that we announce this year’s senior class Valedictorian, Makis Tzioras and Salutatorian, George Karakostas. Congratulations to both of them and the very best of luck in their future endeavours.
MESSAGE FROM THE SCHOOL NURSE: As the weather has warmed up significantly, we all need to take measures to prevent dehydration (which causes dizziness, headache and lethargy), sunstroke and sunburn.

Drink plenty of water
Limit activities during the hottest part of the day
Wear a hat and sunscreen
Sit in the shade during breaks

MAY events:

Water-sports trip to Poros Thursday, May 23^rd – Saturday, May 25^th.
Senior trip to Crete Thursday, May 23^rd – Wednesday, May 29^th – Students must be at ISA at 6:30 p.m. if they want to go to Piraeus by coach. Otherwise, they must be at the pier at 8:30 p.m. Boat leaves at 9:00 p.m.
Spring Concert participants will have rehearsals Tuesday, May 28^th during Club time in the theatre. Please see Ms Koulouris for more details.
Wednesday, May 29^th – Middle School Academic Awards during an extended assembly.
Thursday, May 30^th – High School Academic Awards during an extended assembly.
The Spring Concert will be held on Thursday, May 30^th in the theatre during the last two periods of the day.
Visual Arts Mock Exam – Thursday, May 30^th.
Sports Award Ceremony will be held during the last two periods on Friday, May 31^st.
Grades 7 – 10, Drama Show Friday, May 31^st.

JUNE events:

Saturday, June 1^st, Senior Prom at the Royal Olympic Athens Hotel.
Monday, June 3^rd, Study leave day for all grade 7 -11 students.
Monday, June 3^rd, Mandatory meeting with all grade 12 students to discuss graduation procedures in the theatre at 12 noon.
Final year examinations for grades 7 – 11 will be held from Tuesday, June 4^th – Friday, June 14^th (Schedule is available on the website.)
Thursday, June 6^th, Graduation rehearsal at the Politia Tennis Club at 10:00 a.m.
Drama Club production of ‘The Goon Show’ Saturday & Sunday, June 8^th & 9^th.
Monday, June 10^th, Graduation Day for the Class of 2013. 8:00 p.m. at the Politia Tennis Club.
There will be a Middle School beach trip to Schinia on Thursday, June 13^th. All MS students are required to attend.
Theatrical production of ‘Blood Brothers’ Saturday & Sunday, June 15^th & 16^th.
Monday – Friday, June 17^th – 19^th, IB Study Week – details to follow.
Summer programme begins Monday, June 17^th.

CAS News

I would like to remind all the 11th grade CAS students to complete their yellow reflection forms for the third trimester by Thursday May 30th. Please make sure you include: Sports Clubs, Eco School, UNESCO Activities/Beach Clean-up, Iliaktida Workshop, Visit to the Lyreio orphanage, Easter Bazaar at Melina`s and all the activities you do outside of the school.
